Before I start, let me put out a little disclaimer: I love that more and more people are becoming part of the Game of Thrones universe. I think it is wonderful.
But how big can Westeros get? It is a prime example to explore when it comes to talking about transmedia narratives, and will influence how stories and content expand and progress in years to come. This hybrid format is rapidly growing in order to accommodate for all these new fans, and how much more room is there? From a series of books, A Song of Ice and Fire has since erupted into a six-season television series, thousands of memes, even more fan theories, late-night comedy spin offs and more. My remediation for this week only further contributes to the world of Game of Thrones, and when it comes to transmedia, are there any limits? I guess only time will tell.
For now, signing off,
